2007 VW Eos Convertible
Description
So, I’ve had this 2007 VW Eos for a few years now — it’s a manual, 2-door convertible with a 2.0 TDI, so not the biggest engine, but it’s smooth and reliable. I’ve driven it a lot over the years, about 17,800 miles on the clock, and it’s never let me down. The roof works fine, Apple CarPlay is set up, heated seats are a real plus in the winter, and I’ve got reverse sensors too.I just had the tyres replaced and tracking done — that was a good bit of work, and I’ve kept it well maintained overall. That said, it does need a bit of attention — the driver’s side door handle cable’s frayed and I found it on eBay for £45, so I’m thinking about replacing it. Also, the left and right wings and the left side of the bonnet could use a bit of work — not a major issue, just something I’d like to fix before I hand it over.
There’s a fair bit of paperwork, which I’ve kept all sorted. The MOT runs till January 26, 2026 — so it’s not due for another few months. I’ve been thinking about getting it serviced, which might be around £800 — or if you’re interested, we could swap it for another car. I’m not looking for a quick sale, just someone who really knows how to drive a classic VW and appreciates a bit of character and quiet reliability.
It’s based in Porthcawl, Bridgend County Borough — if you’re local or nearby, I’d love to chat.
