2009 Volkswagen EOS 1.4 TSI SE 2dr Convertible

So, I’ve got this 2009 VW EOS 1.4 TSI SE convertible — it’s been a real joy to drive, runs smooth, and the interior’s spotless inside and out. I bought it when it was new and it’s seen about 110k miles with proper service history, so it’s not just a pretty face — it’s actually been well looked after.

The roof’s a bit of a niggler though — it’s been known to get stuck sometimes, and after a bit of digging, I think it’s more about the runners or cables needing a bit of greasing up. If you’re thinking of keeping it as a soft-top car, you’d probably want to look into a bit of TLC on that. Otherwise, it’s totally fine to just use it as a hard-top car — no issues at all.

It’s got a full MOT from five months ago, safety belt pretensioners, and all the usual bits. I’ve had it checked over by two mechanics on-site, and they’re both pretty solid.

I’m based in Mangotsfield, Staple Hill and Mangotsfield — if you’re coming to check it out, I’ll make sure it’s there. I’m only open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and I need at least an hour’s notice for any viewings. I can do some quick slots between 10 and 12 if you’re flexible, but I’d need to book it the day before or early morning.
