Got this little Renault Modus sitting in my driveway for a while now – 53k miles, and it’s been kept really well. Clean inside and out, runs smoothly, and honestly, it’s one of those cars you just can’t beat for parking and everyday use. Feels solid, not flashy but practical – perfect if you're looking for something that doesn’t demand much attention but still gets you where you need to go.

It’s got a 1.4 petrol engine, manual gearbox, 16v, and runs on 98 bhp – not a powerhouse, but enough for city driving and short trips. The 161 g/km CO2 rating means it’s pretty efficient for its age.

I’ve had it serviced regularly, and it’s had a full MOT and road tax until June 2026 – £265 per year, so it’s low cost to keep running.

It’s got a couple of CD players, adjustable steering, airbags front and back, alloy 15-inch wheels, anti-lock brakes, central locking, electric windows, fog lights, and a decent audio system. The seats are cloth, and it’s got all the safety bits you’d expect.
