I’ve had this Modus since October 2020 and it’s been a solid daily driver – reliable, easy to drive, and never caused me any trouble. I’ve always kept it on schedule with regular servicing, and last year I had new discs and pads done, plus swapped in four new Avon tyres – so it’s in great shape and ready to go right away. The MOT’s valid until 27 November, and it’s a 1.6 which means it’s ULEZ compliant. I only drive about 3,000 to 4,000 miles a year, which is why the mileage’s still at 62k – the MOT certs back that up. It’s a five-door hatch, manual, 1598cc, and I’ve only ever used it for normal commuting and family trips. I’m moving to Ongar in Epping Forest now, so it’s going to be a new chapter – thought I’d pass it on to someone who might find it useful.
