So, I’ve got this 2023 Mercedes CLA 200 AMG Line, 23 reg, sitting in Prestatyn, Denbighshire. It’s a bit of a story — came through an insurance claim, so it’s been damaged on both front and rear ends. That said, it starts up and drives fine — I’ve tested it myself, and it’s not just sitting there dead.

It’s a salvage vehicle, so it’s not road-ready yet. If you’re thinking of buying it, you’ll need to get it fully repaired before driving it on public roads. No warranty at all — we’re not promising anything about the engine, gearbox, or how long it’ll last. All the details we give online or over the phone are just a quick snapshot.

If you’re serious about looking at it, I’d really suggest coming in to see it yourself. Bring a mechanic or a vehicle engineer — they’ll be able to spot what’s really going on. I can’t guarantee the interior bits either — like the parcel shelf, spare wheel, or sat-nav maps — those might not be there or might be missing.

P.S. HPI checks are always worth doing — some of these cars show clear at the time of check, but they’ll eventually get recorded. And remember — no public highway use until it’s fully repaired and passes all legal standards. If it had a MOT, that doesn’t mean it’s safe to drive. A new MOT will be needed after repairs.
