So, I’ve got this 2016 Suzuki Baleno SZ-T – it’s a pretty solid little hatchback, and honestly, it’s been a real joy to drive. Only done 41,507 miles, which for its age is pretty low. It’s a petrol manual with a 1.0 litre engine, Euro 6 compliant, and runs on a good mix of practicality and comfort.

Inside, it has manual air conditioning – not fancy, but works well – and the audio system has Bluetooth, so you can connect your phone without any fuss. Safety features are decent too: rear parking camera, auto headlamps, and those sharp HID projector headlights that really stand out in the dark.

Fuel economy’s excellent – around 64 miles per gallon – which means it’s actually quite economical compared to other cars in its class. CO2 emissions are low too, so it’s not a massive impact on the environment. The boot’s surprisingly big, which helps if you’re doing grocery runs or just want to haul stuff around.
