So I’ve got this 2019 Ford Transit Custom – it’s a double cab, 5-seater van with the 2.0 litre diesel engine and manual transmission. It’s not flashy, but it’s got a solid build and loads of practical features.

I’ve been using it for a few years as a work van – it’s reliable, easy to drive, and handles both city and country routes well. The interior is clean and well-maintained, with a decent amount of space. There’s a second row with privacy glass, and the seats are wide and adjustable – I even have a seat pack for extra storage under the seats.

It comes with a spare wheel, alloy wheels (16-inch), heated seats, and a SYNC3 system with a decent audio setup. The windows work well – front ones are electric, and the second row windows can flip open. I’ve got a second remote key fob too, which is handy.

Safety features are solid: ABS, EBD, ESC, airbags, parking sensors, and even a roll stability control. The steering has power assist and the wheel is leather-trimmed, which feels nice. There’s a glovebox with a lock, and a map reading light too.

The van is in good shape – I’ve had it serviced regularly, and it’s been kept well. The price is £13,045.50 (excluding VAT), so it’s not cheap, but it’s a solid, reliable van with a lot of useable features.
