I’m selling my 2002 MGTF 160 – it’s one of those cars that just feels right when you get behind the wheel. Only 38,579 miles on the clock, and it’s been properly looked after from the inside out. The paint’s clean and shiny, the interior’s tidy and still has that classic British charm – no flashy updates, just honest, solid style.

It’s a manual, which means it’s a bit of a driver’s dream – the steering is sharp, the chassis is light, and the gearbox gives you real control. I’ve never owned a car that felt this connected to the road. At 160 bhp, it’s not flashy, but it’s definitely punchy and responsive – perfect for winding roads or just getting out and driving.

I’ve had it serviced recently, so it’s not just sitting there. The head gasket has been replaced (new triple-layer, for all K-series engines), the cambelt and water pump have been swapped out too. It’s all been done properly, and it’s got a full 12-month MOT with no advisories. I’ve also got a one-year warranty on the head gasket and a 3-month RAC national warranty.

It’s been HPI checked, and I’ve had a full 120-point service done just to make sure everything’s in top shape. I’m not selling it to get a quick profit – I’ve actually loved driving it for years, and I’m just moving on.
