Description

So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2014 Hyundai Ix35, diesel, manual, five-door SUV, Euro 5 spec with navigation. I’ve got it in a nice, clean condition, and I actually drove it regularly for a bit before I moved to the Isle of Skye. It’s been well looked after — six services up to 74k miles, all the work done properly.

It’s not flashy, but it’s solid. The 17-inch alloy wheels look good on the road, and the interior is still comfortable — leather seats, climate control, and the dual-zone system with a humidity sensor. I like the cruise control — makes long drives way easier, especially on the mountain roads here on the Isle of Skye.

Safety features are solid too — ABS, ESP, EBD, brake assist, all the airbags (front, side, curtain), and even a hill-start assist. The LED daytime running lights help it stand out at night, and the reversing camera and parking sensors make parking a breeze. I’ve used it in all sorts of weather — snow, rain, hills — and it handles just fine.

Fuel consumption is around 54.3 mpg, which is pretty good for a diesel SUV, and the CO2 is only 139g/km. Road tax’s £195 a year — not bad for a vehicle this size. It also has a USB and AUX, Bluetooth, a touchscreen nav, and heated seats — front and back. The rear seats fold flat, which is handy if you’re doing a longer trip.

I’m not selling it because I need the cash — I just moved to the Isle of Skye and now I’m looking to downsize. I’m not sure how much it’s worth, but I’ve got a bit of a spare in the bank and it’s been sitting in a garage for a while. The price is £5,391 — I’m not pushing it, just offering it as a practical, reliable car for someone who’s looking for something dependable.

If you’re thinking of buying something that’s actually usable, not just flashy, this might be worth a look. I’m happy to take a call or chat about it — just give me a ring. No pressure, just a real car with real use.

Let me know if you’d like to see it in person — I’m based on the Isle of Skye, Highland.
