Description

I’ve been driving this 1960 Jaguar MK2 3.4 for the past few years and honestly, it’s one of those cars that just feels right. It’s a deep black with original red leather and walnut inlays — those details still look sharp, and the interior’s a real treat. Only 58,000 miles on the clock from new, and I’ve kept it well-maintained with a proper history record.

Recently I had it overhauled — stainless exhaust, new electronic choke, powered steering to make it easier to drive on long weekends. The chrome wire wheels and half spats are still in place, and it’s been properly cleaned and sealed with a life shine treatment.

It’s a true classic, especially the 3.4 model — one of the most sought-after versions of the MK2. Not many around, and the ones that do exist are starting to get more attention. This one’s in great shape, not flashy but solid, and it just feels like driving a piece of British engineering.

I’m based in aspatria, Cumberland now, so if you’re coming out to see it, I can arrange a time to meet up — no pressure, just a real chat about it. I’ve actually been looking at other classic cars lately, so if you’ve got something you’d like to trade, I’m happy to take a look.

No warranty on classic cars over 15 years, but I’ve always gone the extra mile to make sure everything’s clear and honest. Mileage is as accurate as I can get, but because it’s a classic, I can’t guarantee every detail — that’s something you’d want to check before buying.

If you’re interested, just reach out. I’m not trying to sell it fast — I just want to share it with someone who’ll appreciate what it really is.

Phone or email me if you'd like to chat — happy to help with anything from viewing to part exchange.
